Imagination is the first step towards creating your new reality !

The ability to imagine things pervades our entire existence. It influences everything we do, think about and create. It leads to elaborate theories, dreams and inventions in any profession from the realms of academia to engineering and the arts.

The definition of imagination is the ability to come up with mental images of something that is not real or to come up with new and creative ideas. When a child is playing house and creates a pretend story, this is an example of a child using his imagination.

As per mentor – Bob Proctor his powerful quote actually means “Creation begins in the mind before it becomes physical.”

Everybody has the ability to imagine, but imagination becomes powerful when you turn it into “manifestation”. Every material thing that was created by humans was first imagined.

To imagine that which does not exist in your reality requires Discipline , Determination , Dedication and Belief & Faith. Learn to become a powerful manifestor or generator of positive outcomes in your life .

We are all creators of our destiny but very few people understand the power of imagination to create powerful experiences for themselves.

Full Moon Rituals For Cleansing and Manifestation!

Full Moon Rituals For Cleansing & Manifestation

The full moon, with its intense amount of energy, is a good time for releasing and manifesting. It is important to take action, harness this powerful energy and make use of it in a positive way. Take this time to let go and cleanse. Purge things that no longer serve you, release yourself from old attitudes or thoughts that block you from being your best self. If you are feeling stuck in and having difficulty on moving towards your goals, use this opportunity to tap into the full moon’s energy to bring back growth into your life. Remember that the full moon in its luminescence and brightest phase brings immense energy and amplifies whatever it is that you are thinking, feeling or doing. So stay positive and be positive throughout the full moon.

Make the full moon’s energy work for you. Here are 2 rituals you can perform for cleansing and manifestation.

Full Moon Ritual For Cleansing

What You Need:

Paper
Pen
Candle and matchbox
Sage stick
Yoga mat

Head to a quiet place outdoors or in a garden, it is best to do this under the moonlight. Find a space where you can sit and lay on your mat.

Light the the candle and center yourself. Think of all the things, patterns and behavior you want to let go in life and begin writing them all down on paper.

“I am ready and willing to let go of…” Say this out loud along with what you have written down on paper. Speaking out gives things more power and makes it more real.

Burn the paper and scatter the ashes on the ground or on water if you are nearby a stream, a river an ocean or lake.

Close your eyes and visualize everything that you are releasing. It could be as symbolic as placing all these things in a box on a boat and sailing it out to sea.

Light the sage stick and wave it across your body and surroundings to cleanse and clear off negative energy.

End with a Cleansing Prayer:

I am now choosing to cleanse myself and release any and all thought forms, beings, situations and energies that are no longer of service to my highest and greatest good… across all planes of my existence, across all universes, and across all lifetimes. I ask that all energies that are less than love be transmuted for the highest good of all. And so it is. YOU ARE LUMINOUS.

Full Moon Ritual For Manifestation

What You Need:

Paper
Pen
Candle and matchbox
Sage stick
Yoga mat
Crystals
This ritual best done outdoors under the moonlight but you may also find a peaceful space indoors for performing this ceremony.

Lay your yoga mat on the floor and prepare your sacred altar. Light the candle and set it on your mat together with the sage stick, crystals, pen and paper.

Center yourself and start imagining your goals and dreams. Now visualize these dreams actually happening to you now.

Write the phrase “I Manifest…” on a piece of paper and begin listing down your dreams and desires.

Light the sage stick and wave it across your body and surroundings to clear off any negative energy.

Place the piece of paper by the window where the full moon is shining. If there are trees or any structures blocking the moonlight, don’t worry about it as the intention is there.

End with a Manifestation Prayer:

“Full Moon, I love you. I am grateful for your presence. It is a joy to be with you again. Please, be with me now. Shine your light and love upon my desires. May your energy assist in the manifestation of all of this or better. May I receive all that is in accordance with my highest good. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”

Let’s take cooking for a moment , how would you consider trying it as a beginner ?

Cooking skills
Location : Angsana Resorts and Spa Bangalore

1. Assume a Beginners mind – You could Begin with a mindset that you wouldn’t need to know cooking and its the first time your trying it – You could sense or smell the carrots or capsicum with green veggies whatever you are planning to cook and get familiarised with the recipe and procedure

2. Being non judgemental – Being non judgemental with yourself would really help because you are not an expert or expected to be one.All you need to do is start preparing a dish or salad or whatever you have planned as an outcome and staying in this space of curiosity.

3. Patience – Trying anything for the time first makes our brains get overwhelmed by this pace of learning and skills development that we try and apply it to any context or area in life. Leaving us susceptible to frustration, worry, panic and impatience . Some of these behaviours are conditioned from the past.

4. Trust – Learning to trust that whatever you are trying in cooking today is going to be ok and fine. Trust in your intuition or gut feel or whatever that thought is and tell yourself – Whatever I am going to make is gonna be great and amazing!

5. Non – Striving – Allow yourself to experiment and not force anything out of the process. Attitude matters big time. Bring in an element of ease and joy and do no rush through the process . Your mind may take you to a higher gear while you are still at gear 1 .

6. Acceptance – Acknowledge your self-reliance that you care for self and others while cooking .

7. Letting Go -Cooking associates to learning any new skill so let go of the need or being impatient with your culinary skills with yourself and others. Let go of the need for perfecting anything in the attempt or rushing to completing the dish, knowing that you are doing it for the very first time and doing your best.

8- Generosity (For others including self) Show generosity and self compassion .Allow yourself for mistakes and several failures.

Imagine this process or check-in being mindfully written on your mind’s whiteboard – where you can imprint these attitudes and start seeing how they express themselves in reality. Also explore where else can you use this approach ?

As a Mindfulness through Arts , Design thinking for Businesses and Corporate leadership development facilitator -how many have witnessed many employees come to training sessions with too much on their minds to actually pay attention?

Own Photography – Taj Ooty

In order to help them focus and learn, try bringing mindfulness into the classroom.
I have personally seen the effectiveness of art or awareness based techniques.

Some useful tips from HBR :
1-Create a good learning environment. for eg Open spaces are optimal for learning

2- Stay Focussed
for eg Ask the participants to turn off their devices and then take a few minutes for everyone to practice mindfulness.

3- Breath awareness
For eg : Have people sit still, relax their bodies, focus on their breath, and let go of whatever is on their minds.

4-Mindfulness during Breaks
For eg Ask everyone to stay mindful during breaks.

5-Mindfulness in action
for eg : Rather than checking on work, they could take a walk, reflect, or write in a journal.
